Kym Marsh has joined former Hear'Say bandmate Myleene Klass in insisting that the group have no intention of reforming.

The Pure And Simple singers enjoyed chart success after they were formed on TV talent show Popstars in 2001, but Corrie star Kym and TV presenter Myleene have made it clear they aren't planning to reunite.

Kym - who left the group in 2002 after mounting rumours of in-fighting - wrote in her New! magazine column: "We're all doing well in our individual fields, so there's just no need to go back there."

The actress - who also reckons there isn't enough material for a Hear'Say greatest hits tour - was responding to Myleene's comments earlier this month that there was "not a chance in hell" of them following in the footsteps of reformed bands like Steps and Take That.

Myleene said: "It was hard enough the first time around, with us all arguing and b****ing. There's no way I'd go back there."

Kym recently returned to screens as bubbly barmaid Michelle Connor following the birth of her daughter Polly in March this year.
