Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine turns over new leaf - and proposes like a gentleman

He is said to have treated ex-girlfriends badly in the past, but it seems Adam Levine has turned over a new leaf.
The Maroon 5 singer, who became engaged to Behati Prinsloo last summer, revealed that he asked for permission from her father before popping the question.
During an interview with Ryan Seacrest on his radio show on Monday morning, The Voice coach revealed that he was the perfect gentleman when asking for bride-to-be Behati Prinsloo’s hand in marriage.
“I did ask his permission,” the 35-year-old said when asked if he consulted his fiancées father before he asked for her hand in marriage.
“I don’t want to talk about it, you know how I am, but yes, of course I did. I had to. And it was extremely nerve-wracking.”
Levine and the 25-year-old year-old Victoria Secret model got engaged in July of last year.
They are set to wed in an intimate ceremony in Mexico on July 19th.
The ‘She Will Be Loved’ hit maker is also set make his acting debut in Irish director John Carney’s latest offering.
He will star in the ‘Once’ director’s new film ‘Begin Again’ alongside Keira Knightley, CeeLo Green and James Corden.
‘Begin Again’ comes out next month.
