Madonna has tried to make amends with Lady Gaga, after publicly praising her voice.
The Queen of Pop had been involved in a war of words with Lady Gaga after she said Born This Way sounded "familiar" to her own hit Express Yourself, but held back when she appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
"I know everyone's waiting on the edge of their seats for this so I'm playing this one out," she told talk show host Ellen, before stating: "Good voice."
Madonna added of the Marry The Night singer: "She actually has a beautiful quote from (Rainer Maria) Rilke tattooed on her arm, which I like."
The 54-year-old - who wore her iconic Jean Paul Gaultier-designed cone bustier on the show - was also quizzed for her opinions on other female stars including Beyonce, Britney Spears, Rihanna, Pink, Jennifer Lopez and Nicki Minaj.
She revealed Britney is a "good kisser", Beyonce has an "incredible voice" and called Rihanna "sexy". She also described Pink as "cool" and admitted that Jennifer and Nicki have "a nice a**".
Madonna also joked that Sir Elton John, who called her a "fairground stripper", has a "nice a**" too.
Her feud with Lady Gaga escalated after Madonna performed a mash-up of both Express Yourself and Born This Way during her MDNA tour, followed by a snippet of her track She's Not Me.
Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, appeared to respond to Madonna when she later said: "It sometimes makes people feel better about themselves to put other people down or make fun of them or maybe make mockery of their work."
