Macy Gray: I might let Ashton off
Ashton Kutcher may get off lightly after Macy Gray claimed she may forgive him for playing a joke on her.
The I Try songstress found herself starring in his prank show Punk'd with her self-named Music Academy, because of "black mould in the building".
"Yeah, I plan on (getting my own back)... He's definitely on my list, absolutely - but I might let him off the hook now because he Tweeted that he liked my album," she said.
Macy's fifth album, The Sellout, features duets with Bobby Brown and Slash.
"We're good friends," she said about Bobby. "We had talked about it before and we sounded really cool together. When it comes together and it sounds right, it's a celebration."
As for Slash, she said: "He is a real musician. He's very passionate about what he does and really particular - I've learnt a lot from him."
Macy - who describes The Sellout as "spectacular" - made it independently.
"It was fun and I learnt a ton of things. I made it independently, so I made all the choices, I did it when I wanted to and I didn't have anyone telling me what to do," she said.
"Art is very different when it's pure, because a lot of the times, you make this record and you have a lot of people to answer to. When it's just you, it's a whole different experience."
