Girl group Little Mix made 'X Factor' history last night by becoming the first group to win the title.
Mentored by Tulisa Contostavlos, the band scooped the crown in front of a 10,000-strong audience at Wembley Arena, with millions more watching the show live on television.
The band, made up of Jade Thirlwall (18), Perrie Edwards (18), Jesy Nelson (20), and Leigh-Anne Pinnock (19), beat Liverpudlian Marcus Collins to the title.
A speechless Leigh-Anne said: "Oh my gosh, wow." Jade said: "I'm so grateful. Thank you for everybody who voted."
Perrie said: "Oh my gosh, that's insane." And Jesy added: "Oh my god, this is never going to sink in. We can't thank the public enough for picking up the phone."
Ms Contostavlos described the four girls as "true, honest, genuine and talented" and said they deserved this "more than anyone".
Second-placed Marcus said: "I'm really proud of myself but the girls really deserve it. They are amazing."
