Leigh Francis plans to release a cover of Jingle Bells

Leigh Francis has revealed that he wants to release another Christmas single - a cover of Jingle Bells with Paloma Faith.

The comedian behind hit series Bo' Selecta! and celebrity stalker Avid Merrion will let his latest alter ego, businessman Keith Lemon, get behind the mic to record the track.

"I'm going to do a song with Paloma Faith - we're going to do Jingle Bells," he told Absolute Radio host Iain Lee.

"I texted her and said, 'Do you want to do a Christmas single, I'm due for one?' And she said 'yes'... She's up for Jingle Bells. I'm going to meet her - she's in America at the moment - she's going to give me a call when she's back."

The comic previously released the Christmas single Proper Crimbo, featuring characters from Bo' Selecta! and a wide range of celebrity cameos, which reached No 4 in the charts in 2003.

Lemon is currently on screen as the host of ITV2's comedy quiz show Celebrity Juice.
