Kimberley Walsh has revealed she'd like to star in a musical.
The star was a trained dancer, actor and singer even before she was picked to be in Girls Aloud on television talent show Popstars The Rivals, and would like to tread the boards.
"I'd consider doing a musical - it'll take me back to where I started because I did a lot of that growing up," she said.
"I don't think the other girls have got musicals on their iPod, I think that's just me," she added.
Kimberley is also keen to get back into acting - she once auditioned for the part of Maria in Coronation Street and narrowly missed out to Samia Smith.
"I did a lot of acting before the group and when I got in I didn't do it any more so that is something I would like to do. If I can find something that's challenging but something I can do well I'd be interested in getting back to it," she said.
The 28-year-old is looking forward to recording one more album with Girls Aloud, and thinks this could be their best yet.
Kimberley said: "I think we've all grown as people in this year. It probably will bring a different edge but that will be a good thing. We'll all bring something different back from the experiences we've had away from each other."
