Kesha, the Goo Goo Dolls and Moby are among the stars to perform at the various unofficial balls celebrating US president Barack Obama's second term.
Beyonce, Kelly Clarkson and James Taylor have been announced as the performers at the official inauguration ceremony in Washington on January 21, but around the country, other celebrity supporters are holding their own parties.
One of the biggest parties, sponsored by arts lobbying group The Creative Coalition, boasts appearances by stars such as Kirsten Dunst, Paula Abdul and Melissa Leo.
Eva Longoria is hosting her own special presidential inauguration event aimed at celebrating Latino arts and culture on January 20.
