Keane have added club dates to their forest tour after the original six woodland gigs sold out.
The Bedshaped stars, due to play forest shows around the country in June, have announced plans to intersperse the tour with shows at club venues in London, Birmingham, Glasgow and Dublin.
Tim Rice-Oxley said: "The forest shows we're playing in June will be big, glorious singalongs, but we wanted to play some more sweaty and intimate gigs along the way."
He added: "We figured out the other day that we haven't played in Birmingham since February 2007. Birmingham was one of the first cities to really embrace Keane - in fact, we think it was the scene of our first sold out show - so it's about time we got back there."
The tour will begin exactly one month after the May 10 release of Keane's new eight-track EP, Night Train, which was recorded in various studios during the Perfect Symmetry world tour that saw the band playing to packed arenas in 28 countries.
The band will play London's Roundhouse on June 15, Birmingham's Academy on June 16, Glasgow's Barrowlands on June 21 and Dublin's Olympia on June 23.
Their woodland shows in Suffolk, Kent, Gloucestershire, Nottinghamshire, North Yorkshire and Staffordshire are already sold out.
Tickets for the new shows are on sale via Keane's official website, www.keanemusic.com.
