Katy Perry postpones tour dates
Singer Katy Perry has postponed concerts in the US because she's suffering from food poisoning.
A statement released by the I Kissed A Girl star's publicist said Friday's show at Chicago's Allstate Centre has been rescheduled to August 21 and Saturday's show at St Paul's Xcel Energy Centre, Minnesota, is now set for August 23.
The food poisoning led to severe dehydration, the statement said, adding Katy performed feeling ill at Summerfest in Milwaukee on Thursday night.
John Boler, vice president of sales and marketing at Summerfest, said the Teenage Dream singer, married to comedian Russell Brand, wasn't feeling well when she arrived.
He said a doctor was in attendance during the day and the performance.
He said the star performed "beautifully" despite being sick.
Katy apologised but said she plans to give fans the best show ever when she returns.
