Katie Price pulls out of G-A-Y show
Katie Price pulled the plug on a high profile live music show - just days after her chart flop.
The wannabe singer had been due to play at this weekend's G-A-Y club night in London, but has now cancelled her performance.
It comes just days after she limped to number 60 in the singles chart this week with Free To Love Again, despite a whirl of interviews.
Katie made a poorly received appearance at Southend's Mayhem nightclub on Saturday.
It is understood her music aspirations have now been put on hold for the next few months. She has also busy launching her new book Paradise, the latest from her Angel series, this week.
Announcing her axed show in a statement, she said: "It's with great regret and disappointment that I will not perform at this Saturday's G-A-Y. Following recent events, it has been decided that this performance should be pulled from my schedule.
"I've been really looking forward to performing at G-A-Y as it's something I've always wanted to do, however after much consideration the last thing I want to do is put on a show which I am not completely happy with, so with a disappointed Jeremy Joseph (G-A-Y organiser), I would like to apologise to everyone who was planning on coming to see me and I will see you all again very soon."
