Tom Meighan has revealed he's loving watching Shaun Ryder on I'm A Celebrity - but he would never participate on a reality show himself.

The Kasabian frontman told Absolute Radio DJ Ben Jones: "I would never do that to my mum and dad, I would never embarrass my family like that.

"I mean fair play to the people that go on it - Shaun Ryder is on it, that's amazing, that is just class to watch - he's a genius but I could never do that to myself."

Tom was also honest on his opinions about The X Factor.

"Well it's not in my world and I don't really want to comment because all I'm going to say is negative things about it," he said.

"If that's what the world has come to nowadays - you know 30 to 40 million tuning into that - I mean wow, that's all I can say, it is a brainstorm. The X Factor thing has taken over Saturday, they run the press, it's incredible."

Kasabian will headline the 2011 Isle of Wight festival alongside Kings Of Leon, Foo Fighters and Pulp.

"Isle of Wight is a beautiful festival, it was cool. This year we are sharing the stage with some great bands. They've all got their own style. Kings Of Leon are great, the Foo Fighters and Pulp, Jarvis Cocker is brilliant," he added.
