Kano, Damon in table tennis duel
Kano has revealed that he is caught up in a furious table tennis competition with Damon Albarn.
The British rapper, who features on Gorillaz's single White Flag, has been playing against the frontman in a computer game.
"Me and Damon have this huge competition going on in table tennis... He beat me last but we're currently on three-all," he said at the launch of Crackdown 2 on Xbox 360 in London.
While he's willing to thrash him at the sport, Kano - who supported Gorillaz at Glastonbury and will be following them to Syria for a gig - has kind words about Damon's work ethic.
"Damon is crazy to work with - he's very intelligent, creative and a great musician," he said.
"He's a genius. He has the vision to conceptualise the songs. When I went into the studio to record White Flag, he already had a direction and was ready to go."
The 25-year-old had fun headlining with the band at Glastonbury.
"That was wicked. I played Glastonbury before but never the main stage, and never the headlining slot," he recalled. "It was great going up there and doing my part. I was just so happy to be a part of it."
:: Exclusive to Xbox, Crackdown 2 is released on July 9 and is the sequel to 2007's award-winning Crackdown.
