POP twins Jedward plan to stay single. Signing copies of their new album 'Young Love' in HMV Dundrum this morning, they declared themselves "definitely single".

"We don't have girlfriends, we are both single.

"It would be awkward talking to your fans if you had a girlfriend and it would be kind of weird to have a girlfriend following you around," John told Independent.ie.

Despite finishing a disappointing 19th at the Eurovision in Baku, there was still plenty of Jedwardmania in Dundrum shopping centre with hundreds of fans queuing in HMV, and squealing with delight as John and Edward took turns to hang off the balcony above them Talking about their new record Edward said: "Our last album is really dancey but this is back to basics with drums and guitars.

"More than that we wanted to do something that our fans could relate too as they grow up, so young love it is."
