James Arthur to return for Irish gigs
X Factor winner James Arthur is returning to Ireland for two concerts.
James, who supported Justin Timberlake at the Phoenix Park last night in front of 40,000 fans, will play two dates in Cork and Dublin next February.
The singer won the TV3 talent series in December 2012 with Nicole Scherzinger as mentor – and in less than a year his life has been transformed.
X Factor fans will recall how James (24) was living in a bedsit in Middlesbrough when he auditioned for judges Gary Barlow, Tulisa, Louis Walsh and Nicole Scherzingr.
Today, he finds himself regularly peforming to 10,000 people each night on the X Factor Live tour and.
James wowed X Factor fans across Ireland and the UK with memorable renditions of ‘The Power Of Love’ and Adele’s ‘Hometown Glory’
James went on to have the fastest selling single of the year with ‘Impossible’. In just five weeks, it reached the No1 spot and sold more than one million copies.
He has also been nominated for Best British Single at this year’s Brit Awards.
James will play the Olympic Theatre on February 3rd 2014, and the following night, February 4th, at the Cork Opera House.
