Jack White's musical children
Jack White has revealed his children have inherited his musical tastes.
The rocker is father to Scarlett, who turns four on May 2, and two-year-old Henry with British model wife Karen Elson.
Jack told The Times: "They're very musical - they're quite funny in how intently they pay attention to things."
He added: "We listen to old 78rpm records a lot together. I'll show 'em how to wind up the gramophone and they'll put things on. Scarlett really loves Edith Piaf."
The 34-year-old musician - who is a member of The White Stripes, The Raconteurs, The Dead Weather and has released solo material - is often touring so he likes to take his family on the road with him.
Jack revealed: "Paul McCartney used to take his kids everywhere, never had a nanny I heard. So it can be done, it just becomes part of the scenario. At first it's overwhelming, then you look at other people - some mother will tell you she went back to her nine-to-five job two weeks after giving birth. That's really no different to us. Maybe we're more spoilt - we don't have to go the office," he smiles. "You can't take your family to the office."
