Jack White to release solo album
Jack White is releasing his first solo album
Jack White has announced he is releasing his first solo album.
The White Stripes musician said the album, called Blunderbuss, will first hit the shelves and digital downloads on April 24.
The first single from the album, Love Interruption, has already been released.
The album is the former White Stripes frontman's first record since he announced the breakup of that pioneering rock 'n' roll duo last year. Jack also is a member of The Raconteurs and The Dead Weather.
The singer said he produced the album and recorded it at Third Man Studio in Nashville. He said the songs were "written from scratch, had nothing to do with anyone or anything else but my own expression, my own colours on my own canvas."
