Ed took to his Instagram to share a video of himself with Irish actor Tom Vaughan Lawlor, famed for his role as drug kingpin Nidge in Love/Hate.

Ed, a noted fan of the crime series, replied in his plummy English accent, "Nidgey, I have a bone to pick with him.”

“Two legends,” some commentators wrote, while others romanticised about how great it would be should Ed make an appearance in any future seasons of Love/Hate.
