Irish rockers Kodaline got the nod of approval from J-Lo, Randy Jackson and perma-tanned Ryan Seacrest after they stole the show on American Idol on Thursday Night.
The Dublin band performed their single ‘All I Want’ on the entertainment show and were met with cheers from the crowd with ‘#KodalineOnIdol’ trending on Twitter.
Members Steve Garrigan, Vincent May, Mark Prendergast and Jason Boland are currently touring the States having recently finished their latest album.
While on tour they bumped into the ever-so-charming Harry Styles and it sounds like the 1D superstar might be interested in collaborating with the ‘High Hopes’ singers.
“We played a show in LA and Harry Styles just turned up and said he was a big fan and had been listening to our music like all the time,” front man Steve said.
“We expected him to have like body guards but he’s just a really cool down to earth guy.”
The boys shared this snap on Twitter, captioning it; 'Just doing a normal interview and @RyanSeacrest & @YO_RANDYJACKSON just came along and took over :-) @AmericanIdol'
The quartet were recently nominated for Meteor's Choice Music Prize and also won Best Album, Best Track of the Year (High Hopes) and Best Debut Album in the Hot Press Hotties.
They later tweeted that they are in the top 20 on the iTunes America charts.
"Top 20 in iTunes America, Holy shit, thanks everyone xx," they wrote.
