I’m wifey material, I’m a good cook and I always want sex says Adele
GRAMMY Award-winning singer Adele has said she could take five years away from music to concentrate on her love life.
In an interview carried out before she took home six Grammys from Sunday's ceremony in Los Angeles, the 23 year-old told US Vogue magazine she wanted to go on a musical hiatus to focus on her relationship with 37-year-old boyfriend Simon Konecki.
She said: "I am f---ing off for four or five years. If I am constantly working, my relationships fail.
"So at least now I can have enough time to write a happy record. And be in love and be happy.
"And then I don't know what I'll do. Get married. Have some kids. Plant a nice vegetable patch."
She also told Vogue that she considered herself a good girlfriend because she likes to cook, laugh and enjoys sex.
"Come on! I'm wifey material! I'm great," she said. "I will do anything for my man. I am a good cook. I'm funny. Always want to have sex - well, most girls don't!"
The Grammy Awards show was Adele's first performance after having surgery to remove polyps from her vocal chords last year, but she said the enforced absence may have led to the decision.
"I've never fully appreciated the things that I've achieved until now," she said. "In fact, my entire life has changed in the last 10 weeks. I've never been so happy, and I love it."
The singer, whose best-selling album "21" was inspired by a failed relationship, said she was "madly in love" with Konecki, a charity fundraiser, and credits him for helping her recover from the surgery.
"He's wonderful. He looks after me," she said.
