SINGER Lady Gaga credits Jameson Irish whiskey with inspiring her multi-platinum album 'Born This Way'.
So what better way to give thanks but to get a bottle out in front of 40,000 fans at Aviva Stadium last Saturday night?
"I have made so much of my music with Jameson. I'm not being paid a cent to advertise the whiskey... I should be. The whiskey has made my new songs," said Lady Gaga swigging from a bottle of the whiskey on stage.
And she had much to thank the whiskey for. The 26-year-old has already made more than €55m after just 26 dates into her 122-date 'Born This Way Ball' world tour.
Featuring a four-storey haunted castle, a meat grinder and a floating head, it was a massive stage show.
Yet, the best bits of the night came when she dropped the big production and engaged with her crowd.
"I love it here in Ireland. I am usually always wasted down the back of a pub when I come to Ireland... I'm usually huddled in a booth with a bottle of Jameson.
"There's such a free spirit here and some of the nicest people in the world," she said to her fans.
Saoirse Ronan, Jedward, and Lady Gaga's parents were among guests hearing a string of hits including, 'Telephone', and 'Poker Face'.
