Jay-Z has offered a truce to Oasis - saying he wants to meet them.
A war of words broke out between the Empire State Of Mind star and Noel Gallagher over the rapper's headline slot at Glastonbury in 2008, but now Jay-Z has heaped praise on the rockers, who broke up last August.
"We have had our words in the past but the fact is they were one of the biggest bands in the world and you don't become that big unless you are making music of the highest quality - if they ever got back together, I would really like to meet them," he told The Sun.
Jay-Z - who's nominated for two gongs at the Brits - is looking forward to meeting Britain's finest stars, including Robbie Williams.
"I can totally understand why Robbie has won the Outstanding Contribution To Music award," he said.
"He has been at the top for years and he deserves it. He doesn't just make music that people want to listen to, but he entertains and has done for a long time now."
He added: "I am looking forward to shaking the man's hand and offering him my congratulations."
