Richard Hawley has revealed he and Paul Weller once locked themselves in the loo to write songs.
The former Pulp and Longpigs guitarist is heading to London to play at a Jack Daniel's anniversary gig, alongside Jarvis Cocker, Duane Eddy and Ellie Goulding.
Richard recalled the last time he played in the capital, saying: "I was performing at the Royal Albert Hall with Paul Weller and we went into the toilets afterwards and locked ourselves in with our guitars and came up with basic ideas for songs."
The singer added that he was looking forward to being reunited with his old band mate Jarvis at the gig.
He said: "I'd like to play one of Jarvis' solo songs at the gig and maybe he can do one of mine."
The Jack Daniel's gig Tennessee Comes to Town takes place on October 7.
