Natasha Hamilton has admitted she was hurt by claims that she'd had plastic surgery on her face.

The Atomic Kitten faced a tirade of abuse online this year when she and her bandmates appeared on The Big Reunion show, and it was claimed she had had facial cosmetic surgery, including Botox and fillers.

"I'm over it now, but I can't say it didn't hurt. There are people out there who are very strange and can't seem to say anything nice about anyone," said the mother-of-three.

"All I will say is that if I'd had all the things done that they claim I wouldn't be able to move my face! I can move my face, I'm passionate and naturally expressive by nature, and also my work as an actress and performer makes it vital that I can show emotions.

"Anyway, with a career and three children to look after I certainly couldn't spare the time to stay swathed in bandages for weeks!"

Natasha, 31, who recently split from her husband of six years, said she is loving being back with her fellow Atomic Kittens.

She said: "It's been like a second chance with our music which I've wanted for so long. Singing and performing is what I really, really love - I wanted to be a professional singer from the age of 12 - and what also made it so special was that my kids were able to see me in the band. They'd only seen photos and DVDs before.

"They came to one of the London concerts in February and it was such a proud moment for me. I was totally sobbing when I saw them in the audience making heart signs at me with their hands."
