Guetta: I jump around in the studio
Superstar DJ David Guetta says he puts as much energy into recording as he does playing live - and is always "jumping around" in the studio.
The Paris-born producer is renowned for his lively performances at concerts and festivals, and admits he repeats his wild displays while laying down tracks.
Guetta - who plays London's LED Festival later this month - said: "I'm actually exactly the same in the studio as I am on stage. I'm always jumping around, getting excited.
"The artists I work with always laugh at me because I get so excited making tracks. It's always been about making people dance and then drawing emotion from the track then writing the song."
The dance guru - who has worked with stars such as Kelly Rowland and Kid Cudi - is a big draw at dance events and at last year's Creamfields event his set had to be suspended briefly due to overcrowding.
He said: "That was crazy, the moment they told me I couldn't play I was so frustrated - but after 30 minutess they said I could play I knew what was going to happen and after the first kick it was already going off , it was amazing."
:: The LED Festival (www.ledfestival.net) also features acts such as Goldfrapp, Soulwax, Leftfield and Friendly Fires - and takes place in Victoria Park, London, on August 27 and 28.
