Good Times! Bono and Edge take to stage to perform with Nile Rodgers and Chic
It was one hell of a jam session last night in a club in NYC when U2 joined Chic on stage for a disco classic.
The U2 duo took to the stage with the disco king at the after party for the Jony And Marc's (RED) Auction which was raising money for the fight against AIDS.
Performing the classic Good Times with Nile Rodgers, the Edge busted his best disco moves with backing singer Angelique Kidjo, while Bono blasted out a verse of the Good Times hit.
Getting into the disco fever they also sang a version of the Daft Punk Get Lucky, which was written by Nile Rodgers.
Bono is a big fan of Rodgers, and sent him a hamper when he performed in Vicar Street in Dublin last month welcoming him to Ireland.
Earlier in the evening Bono performed at the benefit with Chris Martin from Coldplay, singing Lou Reed's 'Perfect Day' and U2's 'Beautiful Day' performed on a piano that was up for auction.
The man reported to be U2's new manager, Guy Oseary, was at the auction also.
