Good Charlotte will be headlining the Kerrang! Relentless Energy Drink tour next February.

The Californian pop-punk band, who will be releasing their fifth album Cardiology in November, are planning to turn the frenetic shows into a massive bash.

"This is really exciting for us - this is the first time we've done anything like this, especially in the UK, and I think it's long overdue... It's going to be like one long party!" said guitarist Benji Madden.

"Kerrang! have always been a big supporter of our band and it's something we don't take for granted. The bill is so strong - people are going to get their money's worth!" he added.

They will be joined by Massachusetts group Four Year Strong and Nashville-based pop-rockers Framing Hanley on the tour, as they visit 12 cities around the UK and Ireland from February 4 at Dublin Academy.

Tickets will be available from 9am on September 17.
