Liam Gallagher has revealed he likes One Direction, but is no fan of Mumford & Sons.
The former Oasis frontman, who is working on his third Beady Eye album, reckons the folk-rockers - whose second album Babel debuted at No 1 in the UK and has been a huge success in the States - look like hippies.
"There's a lot of banjos. Everyone looks like they've got f***ing nits. And eat lentil soup with their sleeves rolled up. They all look like they live on the Heath," he told Q.
"Everyone's f***ing Don McLean, far too many acoustic guitars, no style, they look like they shop at Oxfam."
As for One Direction, Liam said: "I like them. Fair play to them. I met them at the Olympics and their heads were up their a***s, but they're harmless."
The 40-year-old also denied that he will reunite with his brother Noel for the Oasis comeback tour, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of (What's The Story) Morning Glory?
"He'll be f***ing doing it on his own. Or with his f***ing High Flying Smurfs. The thought of going onstage with that idiot anyway and hanging out with his daft mates... not interested, mate," he said.
