A unique "celebration of peace, unity and love" is about to hit Dublin.

The Dublin City Soul Festival, which runs from May 26 -29, has been described as a "feelgood festival built by a dedicated group of people living and working in the city".

The majority of the events are free. But festival-goers have been asked to make a donation to its charity, the Musical Youth Foundation, which was established in 2009 by founder Chris Maher. The project's aim is to have a long-term positive impact on communities by providing children with access to a musical education.
