It's been quite some time since we launched a successful homegrown rock band and Kodaline are set to buck the trend.

While The Script have dominated the international market and The Coronas here at home, Kodaline are pushing their way through the charts and have launched their brand new album, In A Perfect World.

The EP is heading steadily towards the number one spot in the UK and Ireland, and last night, they celebrated the launch aboard the Cill Airne boat on the River Liffey with an exclusive bash.

Steve Garrigan, Jason Boland, Mark Prendergast and Vinny May are headed towards the coveted top spot in the UK charts and are tipped for the same success here.

Newlywed Karen Koster covered the launch for Xpose, and models Daniella Moyles, Kelly Donegan and Rachel Wallace also attended.
