The band - Lucie Kay, Brooke Challinor and Sophie King - are the new ambassadors of Fight Cervical Cancer In Style, a national campaign by GlaxoSmithKline in association with Jo's Trust to educate girls and women about cervical cancer so they can better understand their risk and how to reduce it.

The Gold Digger singers feature in a new video leading two dance troupes in a humorous 'dance-off' contest, all wearing the campaign's symbol - a limited edition purple scarf, especially designed by fashion emporium PPQ.

Lucie said: "We are proud to be supporting the Fight Cervical Cancer In Style campaign. This disease kills nearly three women a day in the UK, and yet many people don't realise that nearly all cases are caused by a virus called HPV, which can be prevented. We are committed to doing all we can to educate girls and women on the risk and how to reduce it."

The campaign is supported by the Royal College Of Nursing And Wellbeing Of Women.

The video can be viewed at http://www.showyourstyle.co.uk/assets/video/sysv1.swf.

To find more about cervical cancer and how to reduce their risk, girls and women can visit the campaign website www.showyourstyle.co.uk, or speak to their GP or nurse.
