Doherty in court over car crash
Pete Doherty is due to appear in court accused of letting his manager use his car without insurance.
It is believed Andrew Boyd was driving the rocker's Daimler when he was in collision with a pedestrian in Hadleigh, Suffolk, on September 27 last year.
Chris Corder, 42, was seriously injured in the crash and remains in a coma, his family said.
Doherty, the former Libertines member and Babyshambles frontman, will face a charge of permitting the use of a vehicle without insurance, Suffolk Police said.
Doherty, 30, from Wiltshire, is due to appear before Lowestoft magistrates.
Boyd, 42, of north London, is due to be sentenced at Ipswich Crown Court after admitting dangerous driving, failing to stop at the scene of a road traffic collision, driving without reasonable consideration, driving with no insurance, failing to report an accident and driving without a licence.
