Did you just turn to Google to check the welfare of Daniel Bedingfield?
The term 'Daniel Bedingfield' may have never been searched so much on Google as it has done tonight.
Viewers of 'Celebrity Juice' were duped by a comment made on the comedy chat show that suggested the noughties pop star might have passed away.
Twitter - the more reliable source for such information - also went into overdrive, needless to say.
"Google in overload with people searching if Daniel Bedingfield is alive & well.....! #celebjuice" tweeted Adam Garner.
Brittany Duffy was among thousands as she posted: Thanks @CelebJuice for making me google if Daniel Bedingfield was actually dead! #CelebrityJuice"
While some realised their mistake and found the funny side of it almost immediately, others were slower to catch on.
"I'm absolutely powering through google right now to find out if Daniel Bedingfield is actually dead???? *sad face*," wrote Abi Morgan.
While 'Roy' just didn't seem to find it funny: "Strange Daniel Bedingfield joke on #celebjuice He's not dead! #danielbedingfieldRIP"
The powers that be that run the Celebrity Juice Twitter page rapidly attempted to right the wrong.
"#BedingfieldLives @DanielBedingfld WE LOVE YOU. THANK GOD. COME ON #CELEBJUICE," they tweeted.
"He's alive! He's alive. WE LOVE YOU DANIEL #BedingfieldLives"
