Corden to give Brits fee to charity
James Corden is to donate his Brit Awards presenting fee to charity.
The star - who returns to the show for a second hosting stint this year - has announced he will give the cash, thought to amount to tens of thousands of pounds, to Comic Relief.
The comic actor, who has regularly helped the charity's efforts, said it was the "right thing".
James previously fronted the show in 2009, working alongside Gavin & Stacey co-star Mathew Horne and Kylie Minogue. At Tuesday night's event, to be held at the O2 Arena, he will be hosting the show alone.
He confirmed he was handing the fee to Comic Relief - which holds its biennial Red Nose Day next month - on Twitter.
James said: "It felt the right thing to do. I'm glad you agree."
