Coldplay set for 'hidden' gigs
Coldplay are swapping stadiums to play a pair of "hidden" Christmas shows in front of a few hundred people.
The band will play at secret venues in Liverpool and Newcastle next month, with Ant and Dec compering the show in their north east home town.
The venues will not be made public until 24 hours before the band step on stage for the shows to help homeless charity Crisis.
A message on the band's website said: "This gives gig-goers a small taste of the uncertainty faced by the thousands of homeless people who do not know where they will spend the night."
Tickets go on sale on Friday for £50 with some reserved only for people who live close to the venues.
A further 200 will be auctioned for anyone around the world, as well as 30 premium tickets for a champagne reception and an opportunity to meet the band.
The band is being supported by The Choir With No Name, a choir made up of homeless people.
