Coldplay get the hots for Glee
Coldplay are set to get the Glee treatment.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the band have given the cult US show permission to use their entire catalogue.
The show's writer-producer Ryan Murphy approached the band after enjoying huge success with a Madonna episode, but said he initially got a "rejection".
Ryan said the band called a week ago and said "you can have our catalogue".
He said Bryan Adams had rejected requests to use the Canadian soft rock singer's music.
"At the beginning a lot of people didn't know what we were and asked to see pages (in advance), but I refused because I didn't want to set a precedent of them having any involvement," Ryan added.
