Kurt Cobain penned an unflattering note about his wife Courtney Love which was found in his wallet at the time of his death, it has emerged.
The note was released by the Seattle Police Department, 20 years after the Nirvana frontman committed suicide in his Seattle home.
In the undated note, acquired by CBS News, Kurt writes: "Do you Kurt Cobain take Courtney Michelle Love to be your lawful shredded wife... even when she's a b***h with zits and siphoning all (your) money for doping and whoring..."
In contrast, in his suicide note, the Nirvana frontman called his rock star wife "a goddess ... who sweats ambition and empathy."
People reported that there is speculation that Kurt could have been joking about his relationship, making fun of the perception that it was troubled.
It said that Courtney has not commented on the note, which was made public on the same day that she revealed the video for her latest song called Wedding Day.
Seattle Police Department reviewed the case files of Kurt's suicide earlier this month.
Kurt's death has been the subject of conspiracy theories since his body was found in his Seattle area home on April 8, 1994.
