We have a pair of tickets to give away to see Phil Collins in the Aviva Stadium next June.

To celebrate one of the most anticipated gigs of 2017, Independent Entertainment has teamed up with MCD to offer two tickets to one lucky reader to see Phil Collins in Dublin.

The former Genesis star will return to Ireland for the first time in 12 as he takes to the stage at the Aviva Stadium on June 25.

Collins (65) will perform all of his greatest hits as part of his comeback tour, Not Dead Yet.

To be in with your chance to win a pair of ickets, all you have to do is like our post about this competition on the Independent Entertainment Facebook page, and leave a comment on why you - and a friend of your choice - should be there on the night.

The announcement of his Irish show follows five sold out dates at the Royal Albert Hall, London, as well as one date in Hyde Park.

Tickets, from €89.50 including booking fee, will go on sale this Tuesday, 20th December at 9am from Ticketmaster.ie.

Following his retirement from music in 2011, Collins said "it's time to do it all again."

"I thought I would retire quietly," he said.

"But thanks to the fans, my family and support from some extraordinary artists I have rediscovered my passion for music and performing. It's time to do it all again and I'm excited.  It just feels right."

Only one winner will be chosen. Competition closes Tuesday, December 20 at 9am. Terms and conditions apply. Best of luck!
