Clint's lad makes their day at festival
Kyle Eastwood, son of the legendary Hollywood actor-director Clint Eastwood, and former Blur frontman Damon Albarn will star at this weekend's Cork Jazz Festival.
Albarn will open proceedings tonight with a star-studded ensemble dubbed 'Honest John's Chop Up' in the Savoy Theatre.
The star represents one of the biggest signings in festival history, perfect timing given the speculation that the Blur frontman and his former nemesis, Oasis founder Noel Gallagher, are talking about undertaking a musical collaboration.
Eastwood (43), who was encouraged in his musical career by his jazz-loving father, will be appearing with his quintet.
More than 1,000 musicians from over 30 countries will flock to the event.
