ASLAN frontman Christy Dignam has hit back at Westlife member Kian Egan over references he made about him on RTE show 'The Voice Of Ireland', writes Ken Sweeney.
The 50-year-old vocalist was reacting after his daughter was passed over at auditions on the latest episode.
Keira Dignam (26) had sung En Vogue song 'Don't Let Go Love' at the try-outs in Dublin's Helix. Coach Kian Egan remarked that her father Christy could have picked a better song for his daughter.
Dignam claimed the track performed by his daughter was not her original choice.
"Kian Egan obviously doesn't have a clue about what goes on backstage at 'The Voice'. All Kian Egan knows about the music business is how to get up off a stool," Dignam said.
