Coldplay's Chris Martin and Jonny Buckland are set to perform at Mencap's Little Noise sessions.

The duo - minus bassist Guy Berryman and drummer Will Champion - will headline the show at St John-at-Hackney church on November 24.

They will be joined by Emile Sande, Michael Kiwanuka, Ben Howard and Bebe Black on the night.

Chris said: "Jo Whiley does amazing work for Mencap. We are thrilled she asked us to play and are honoured to be part of this special night."

Mencap ambassador Jo added: "We are delighted to welcome the return of Chris Martin and Jonny Buckland to headline an extra special night for Mencap's Little Noise Sessions. With a week of unbelievable shows, this year is set to be one of the most exciting and inspiring we've had to date. I can't wait!"

Other artists performing at the sessions, which run from November 22-27, include Elbow, Maverick Sabre, Goldfrapp, Example, Ed Sheeran, Birdy, and Marina And The Diamonds, with Sinead O'Connor and King Creosote closing the festival.

Tickets will be on sale from November 7 from www.littlenoisesessions.org.uk.
