Britain's Got Talent star tenor Paul Potts announces three Irish concert dates

He silenced millions with his performance of ‘Nessun Dorma’ on Britain’s Got Talent in 2007 and his ‘rags to riches’ story has recently been revealed on the big screen.

Now, Paul Potts, winner of the first series of Britain’s Got Talent, has announced three Irish dates for November 2014.

The tenor, who used to manage a phone store in Bridgend, South Wales, released his ‘Greatest Hits’ album last month.

His first album soared to number one in thirteen countries, including the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Hong Kong and Mexico.

His rise to fame has also been documented for the big screen, with award-winning comedian James Corden playing him in the film ‘One Chance’.

Potts will play Cork Opera House, Cork, The Waterfront, Belfast and The Olympia Theatre, Dublin next November.

Tickets for Paul Potts live at The Olympia on November 7, 2014 cost €33.50/€36 including booking fee and will go on sale this Friday at 9am on Ticketmaster.
