Boyzone are toasting Stephen Gately's memory on St Patrick's Day - what would have been his 34th birthday.
Ronan Keating, Shane Lynch, Mikey Graham and Keith Duffy are celebrating their fourth album Brother going straight to No 1 and will raise a pint of Guinness - but had admitted the day would be hard for them without Stephen.
Ronan told The Daily Star: "It's bittersweet - Steo would have been so, so happy about the success of the album because he was truly excited about making it."
He added: "He'll be smiling wherever he is and we'll be having a birthday drink of Guinness for him today."
The band revealed they have decided it's time to move on from mourning and now celebrate the life of Stephen, who sings on the album.
Shane said: "Stephen brought colour into the lives of everyone he met. We've realised that we now need to bring back that colour into our lives as it's the best way to honour him.
"The way to do this is to start celebrating Stephen rather than mourning him. But that's not to say we won't still find things tough."
:: Boyzone's tribute show to Stephen airs on ITV1 on Sunday March 21 at 8.30pm.
