Bono turns wedding singer
THIS is a wedding singer we'll never forget. Bono made it a 'Beautiful Day' for the grand-daughter of philanthropist billionaire Warren Buffet at her wedding reception.
The U2 frontman serenaded the bride's guests at an unforgettable wedding reception.
Bono stepped up to perform with the band at the extravagant wedding of Emily Greenberg in Omaha, US where he performed 'Stand By Me' – the song popularised by Ben E King in the 1960s.
Some 285 guests attended the wedding of Emily and Tom Threlkeld.
Guests included Warren Buffett, who is estimated to be worth €40bn, and her uncles Howard and Peter Buffett.
Bono's appearance was leaked on social networking site Instagram, where someone published a video with the caption: "Just your normal Omaha wedding."
Meanwhile, it was revealed that U2's Adam Clayton and his new bride Mariana Teizeira de Carvalho are due to make their home in London as she owns a house in Westminster.
The couple tied the knot in Dublin last week but are planning a second ceremony in the south of France.
