Bono to perform with Rihanna at fundraiser
POP star Rihanna says she will perform a new song called 'Stranded' with rapper Jay-Z, and The Edge and Bono in London at today's 'Hope for Haiti' telethon.
The R&B superstar said she felt drawn to the cause because of Haiti's proximity to her home country of Barbados.
Meanwhile, celebrities were last night joining forces to help raise emergency funds for those left destitute by the devastating Haitian earthquake.
Damon Albarn, Coldplay and the Arctic Monkeys have come together to put on a special auction to raise funds for Oxfam's emergency response.
Items in the auction include an offer from Albarn to record a specially written piece of music.
The auction goes live on eBay at 9am today and runs for 10 days.
The international 'Hope For Haiti' benefit gig takes place in Britain and the US and boasts some of the biggest names in the music world. It will include performances from Beyonce in London and Madonna in New York.
