BONO and the Edge have performed a song from their ill-fated 'Spider-Man' musical in front of 20 million viewers ahead of the long-awaited official opening next month.

They performed in front of a giant spider web set lit with red lights, as two 'Spider-Man' stuntmen flew in costume over the heads of the audience.
As the song ended, Spider-Man descended upside down over the head of judge Jennifer Lopez in a move familiar to fans of the movie.
The 'American Idol' finale results show is one of the most watched TV programmes in the US, pulling in more than 20 million viewers.
The reworked musical, nicknamed 'Spider-Man 2.0', continues to draw huge crowds in New York.
