Bon Jovi are looking for an opening support act for their London tour dates

Bon Jovi are holding a competition to find a UK act to open for them during their London dates.

The US rockers, who are playing the O2 Arena from June 7 until 26, are giving bands a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to perform in front of tens of thousands of cheering fans before their support acts OneRepublic and Kid Rock.

Lead guitarist Richie Sambora said: "If you want to open one of our O2 shows and think you've got the chops to win - upload a track via www.openforbonjovi.com and we'll be seeing you on tour!"

The lucky act, chosen by Bon Jovi's management and concert promoters AEG Live, would win a coveted opening slot to perform for around 30 minutes on June 7-8, 10-11 and 13.
