Bieber moved by Philippines trip
The Beauty And The Beat singer jetted to Tacloban, the devastated capital of central Leyte province, to distribute shirts, toys and basketballs to children affected by the disaster. He also performed an acoustic concert for victims.
He shared a photo of himself meeting children on Instagram with the message: "#pray4philippines most touching trip of my life."
Justin, 19, told the Daily Mirror he would "never forget" the suffering he saw on his visit, which included a trip to a relief shelter and a school.
He said: "I came to the Philippines to help my fans understand the importance of involvement on all levels. It's easy to pledge my commitment to this cause, but it's staying involved that matters most to me and that is exactly what I plan to do.
"I want to bring as much awareness to the devastated areas as I can. Seeing the suffering first hand and interacting with the community was an experience I will never forget."
The pop heartthrob has posted several tweets urging his fans to help support those affected by last month's typhoon, directing them to his Prizeo website to donate.
One tweet said: "Help and get involved. I saw the devastation first hand today. They need our help. #GiveBackPhilippines."
Justin has offered donors to his fundraising campaign a chance to meet and hang out with him in the recording studio, and he has also announced that he will be adding the spray paint cans he used to make some Philippines art to the campaign if his fans create a Twitter trend.
