Bieber gig rules 'won't be relaxed'
PROMOTERS of the hotly anticipated Justin Bieber concert have vowed there will be no exceptions to strict conditions put in place to combat ticket touts.
The American teen sensation plays the O2 in Dublin next month.
But his predominantly young following has been warned that the person whose name is on the tickets must be present if others in the group are to gain entry.
A high-profile Miley Cyrus concert last year had the same rules but changes to the names on the ticket were allowed between the time of purchase and the concert date.
However, Aiken promotions and Ticketmaster are adamant that there will be no changes and no exceptions this time.
The ticket buyer must also have valid ID and the bank card they bought the tickets with to be allowed in. Sinead Scanlan, from Dublin, bought two tickets for her niece as a Christmas present.
"I have never heard such ridiculous terms and conditions," she said.
"Imagine the upset for all those young followers who are not aware of these strict terms and conditions and are turned away."
Ticketmaster said the conditions were clearly set out for every purchaser of Justin Bieber tickets and a special page was created so people wouldn't miss it.
