Robbie Williams introduced a particularly special guest to his spectacular Aviva Stadium crowd on Saturday, inviting his father Peter Williams on stage for a duet.

To mark Father's Day, the Angels singer and his dad sang 'Sweet Caroline' for the sun-fuelled Aviva audience. The special moment between the pair was captured on camera by one of the 50,000 fans who turned up for the Dublin leg of his Heavy Entertainment Tour.

The singer also paid tribute to Irish legend Joe Dolan, by singing one of his classic hits 'You're Such a Good Looking Woman', much to the delight of the crowd.

Williams (43) previously opened up about his family's close relationship with the Mullingar singer, who died in 2007.

The singer admitted that the Irish crowd lived up to his expectations and said the capital is one of his favourite places to perform in the world.

Taking to his Instagram this morning, Robbie thanked the "spectacular" crowd.

"Dublin, I've had the time of my life. Absolutely ridiculous," he tweeted.
